Sometimes a smile and a positive attitude is all that’s needed to help turn a stressful situation into a good night’s stay. Read Cecilia’s story below to find out how one of our front desk employees was able to help guests whose flights were delayed have an enjoyable stay even in less than ideal circumstances.
The County Inns & Suites hotel we stayed at is often visited by people who have missed their flight connections at the nearby airport and have been comped for their rooms by the airlines. Most folks are hungry and tired by the time they get there. During my stay, the employees could not have been more polite. The front desk employee is a star. At 5 a.m. I sat and listened while one family after another ranted and raged at her. Her diplomatic manner, respect, and empathy diffused these angry moods and helped each of these families find solutions to their problems. I will consider staying at another Country Inns & Suites hotel in the future because of her great attitude. Thanks!
